Advocate Vincenzo Ferrante

Vincenzo Ferrante (Trapani 1967, proud father of two daughters) is Full Professor in Labour Law at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University in Milan.

He also teaches Social Security Law and Trades Union Law at the same University and is Director of the postgraduate Master’s Degree in Labour Law and Personnel Management (MUCL).

Over the years he has taught Labour Law, Public Labour Law and Comparative Labour Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Palermo and at various faculties and on various courses at the Milan, Piacenza, Cremona and Rome campuses of the Catholic University.

He started in commercial practice in November 1994.

Author of several books or essays, articles and commentaries in the most important legal reviews; his monograph “Power and Self-Protection in Sub-Contracted Contracts of Employment” (Turin, 2004) was awarded the “Massimo D’Antona” prize from AIDLASS (the Italian Association of Labour and Social Security Law) for the best debut work on Labour Law.

His latest book has been published in 2017 (Dal contratto al mercato: recenti sviluppi nel Diritto del Lavoro, Torino, Giappichelli)
